ROGER WATERS TUO US + THEM -KIERTUEENSA HELSINKIIN ELOKUUSSA 2018
Rock-ikoni Roger Waters tuo ylistetyn Us + Them -maailmankiertueensa Helsinkiin ensi vuoden elokuussa. Edellisen kerran The Wall Live -kiertueella vuonna 2011 kaksi areenailtaa loppuunmyynyt Roger Waters nähdään Hartwall Arenalla tiistaina 21. elokuuta. Konsertin lipunmyynti käynnistyy maanantaina 2. lokakuuta Ticketmasterissa.
Parhaillaan Yhdysvaltoja kiertävä Us + Them -kiertue on ehtinyt saada maailmalla jo huippuarviot. Roger Waters tunnetaan lavaproduktioiden visionäärinä, joka häkellyttää fanit mestariteoksillaan. Us + Them ei ole poikkeus, vaan se on vakuuttanut yleisöt ainutlaatuisilla visuaaleilla ja henkeäsalpaavalla show’lla. Settiin on poimittu materiaalia sekä Pink Floyd- klassikoista että Watersin omasta soolotuotannosta. Luvassa on kappaleita sekä ”The Dark Side Of The Moon”, ”The Wall”, ”Animals” että “Wish You Were Here” -klassikkolevyiltä, sekä uusia biisejä Roger Watersin tuoreelta “Is This The Life We Really Want?” -albumilta.
Kiertueen nimi Us + Them juontaa juurensa moninkertaista platinaa myyneen “The Dark Side Of The Moon” -albumin kappaleesta “Us And Them” vuodelta 1974. Kiertuetta on hehkutettu uusimmaksi vertaansa vailla olevaksi Pink Floyd -spektaakkeliksi. Us + Them -kiertue on ensimmäinen maailmankiertue sitten loppuunmyydyn The Wall Liven, jonka näki yli neljä miljoonaa fania 219 keikalla ympäri maailmaa vuosina 2010-2013. The Wall Live pitää edelleen paikkaansa historian eniten myyneenä sooloartistin kiertueena.
