Kööpenhaminassa 1994 perustettu tanskalaisyhtye Mew on näytellyt suurta roolia indierockin siementen kylvämisessä kotimaassaan ja maailmalla. 1994 perustettu Mew on vakiinnuttanut paikkansa yhtenä Tanskan merkittävimmistä yhtyeistä.

Mewin musiikkia on kuvattu tyyliltään tinkimättömäksi ja tunnistettavassa soundimaailmassa kaikuvat vivahteikkaat, unenomaiset, tarttuvat ja progressiiviset elementit. Yhtyeen konsertit pursuilevat energiaa ja visuaalisuutta, joka hurmaa ja yllättää katsojat.
